It is finished! (For this year.) The Fly Like an Eagle 5K that is! I just want to say how grateful I am to all of you who ran, all of you who volunteered, and all of you who sponsored us! Y’all are awesome! Each and every one of you! I’m going to send out individual thanks a little later, but right now my mind is still rattled so I fear I’ll leave someone out.

The weather forecast turned out to be a lie, but the race still turned out great! I’m going to send out a survey in the next couple of days to get your opinions on what went well, what needs to be improved, and what changes you’d like to see that would bring you back next year.

Again though, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This race is great because of YOU! Each and every one of you!

Online registration is now closed, but we'll still have race day registration from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM Saturday at the Vilonia football stadium.

Awards and t-shirts are in! Remember, we cannot guarantee a shirt to those who registered after March 31st, but we will do our best to get you one.

The weather looks like it's going to be great too!

Race Week is Here!

Race week is here ladies and gentlemen! Thank you all so very much for signing up! Things are looking great.

I spoke with our awards supplier, our t-shirt supplier, and our timer, and everything looks to be on track and on time! Volunteer assignments are done, though I'm sure there will be some last minute tweaking there. Things are really coming together!

Latest weather forecast says mid 70s for a high, mid 50s for a low, and cloudy on Saturday. Should be really great weather for a race!

Online registration closes tonight at midnight, but there will be race day registration available from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM on Saturday morning.

Race will start at precisely 8:00 AM. Awards ceremony should be around 9:00 AM. Kids 1 Mile Fun Run will start immediately after the awards ceremony.

Two weeks from tomorrow is race day! It's almost here. We had a rush of entries the past couple of days. If this trend continues, this will be our biggest year ever! Thanks so much to all of you who've registered already, and to all of you who still plan to register. We ordered quite a few extra shirts, so there's still a good chance to get one. We just can't guarantee shirts to those who register from now to race day. But we still have great awards, and I ordered more finishers medals so we can have one for every finisher!
