Race Day Instructions

Ladies and gentlemen, it's finally here! Race week that is. Saturday is the day!

First, thank you all for your support of Vilonia Cross Country. You're helping to build the future of our sport. On Saturday, you'll see many of them volunteering, working to give you a great race experience.

Now, what to do on race morning.

Packet pickup and race day registration will be at the stadium from 6:45 - 7:45 AM. We will have two entrances to the parking lot open on the north end of the campus (both accessible from HWY 64B). The 5K start line is in the parking lot, directly in front of the main high school entrance.

As of this morning, The Weather Channel is calling for temperature at the start in the low 60s, with party sunny skies. Shoud be a great day to run!

Upcoming Price Increase & T-Shirt Deadline

Many thanks to all who've signed up already! We're looking forward to a great race this year. The weather has finally warmed up and it looks like winter may be gone for good.

We're a month away from race day now and a couple of deadlines we need to make sure all are aware of. First, the registration price will increase on April 1st. That means only two more weeks at the current price. Second, April 8th is the deadline to register and be guaranteed a t-shirt in your size.

The safest bet is to register early so you don't get distracted and forget! We'd love to see you in Vilonia on April 18th!

We'll have plaques for the top three male and female finishers in the Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters categories. And we'll award gold, silver, and bronze medals to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in the following age groups:

9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.

If you've been on the fence about whether or not to sign up, this should help you decide. These awards look awesome!









And kids' finishers medals for the 1 Mile Fun Run! Every kid that finishes the 1 mile fun run gets a medal!
