You can now register for the Fly Like an Eagle 5K for the low, low price of $15! That price is good until the end of this year. The race will be run on April 19, 2014, on the Vilonia School District main campus.
The course is certified (previously the Vilonia K-Life 5K), flat, and fast! With your registration fee, 5K runners will receive a commemorative technical t-shirt. Virtual runners and those registered for the Eaglet 1 Mile Fun Run will receive a commemorative cotton t-shirt.
Top three male and female finishers in overall, masters, and grand masters categories will receive really nice trophies to mark their achievement. Beautiful medals will be earned by top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 & above.
This is a runners' race, organized and directed by runners, for runners. Proceeds even benefit runners! Your entry fees and sponsorships go to support the Vilonia Cross Country team. Really, what runner can turn down an opportunity to run a race dedicated to bringing up the next generation of lovers of the sport?
